• Messages posted to the RDLife Forum and RDLife Blog, are solely the opinion and responsibility of the person posting the message. Reader’s Digest is not responsible for messages left by RDLife Forum and RDLife Blog members. In other words, you are responsible for your own postings.
• We’re sorry, but your posts can be removed, or you may receive a warning, or be suspended from the RDLife Forum and RDLife Blog sites if you make inappropriate postings. The following types of postings can result in immediate post removal, warning, and/or suspension from the site. Other inappropriate postings not listed below may also warrant removal and/or suspension from the site. Reader’s Digest Association Ltd reserves the right to remove any post without warning or further notice.
• Only persons aged 18 or over may post to the boards, without regard to whether an adult actually owns the registration or parental/guardian permission.
• Posting contact or personal information about another individual.
• Posting material containing profanity, vulgarity, hate speech, or threats of violence.
• Posting material (graphic or text) that is obscene, pornographic or adult in nature.
• Using JavaScript, active or other coding, making repetitive posts, or other actions that interfere with site operations
• Posting material with the intent to impersonate Reader’s Digest Staff or another member through the use of similar IDs or any other method or device.
• Encouraging others to violate RDLife Forum and RDLife Blog policies or rules.
• Advertising merchandise, auctions, services or commercial web sites.
• “Wanted” posts, or posting solicitations of interest in the sale of an item or service.
• Refusing to follow Reader’s Digest staff instruction or direction.
• Posting private emails.
• Posting copyrighted items without the permission of the copyright owner.
• Distributing or posting spam, chain letters, or pyramid schemes.
• Harvesting or otherwise collecting information about users, including email addresses, without their express consent.
• Reporters and third party representatives need permission from the Reader’s Digest Association Ltd UK Legal Department prior to posting or emailing members in their official capacity.
• We expect all people posting to the RDLife Forum and RDLife Blog to be courteous and polite to one another. Healthy expressions of opinion need not be rude.
• Only one (1) username per person – Please, create and use only one username. If you need to change your username, please contact the RDLife administrator, and they will be happy to help you.
• Post to the appropriate forums - Read the forum names and descriptions before posting, and then post to the right forum. It’s not so much a rule, as a courtesy to your fellow RDLife members.
• No crossposting - Do not post the same message to more than one forum. Locate the right forum and post it there. Again, it’s just a courtesy to your fellow RDLife members.
• No ALL CAPS posting - Using ALL CAPITAL letters is considered SHOUTING and is rude.
• Have fun – Not so much a rule, as a suggestion. This web site is for you. Enjoy it.

We would like the RDLife Forum and RDLife Blog members to work together to keep the site working properly and the Forum safe. Please report problems, offensive content, and policy breaches to us.
